certificate issued by the International Organization for Standardization.
Sanyo Chemical places a great deal of importance on environmental conservation,
occupational safety and product stewardship by adhering to the principles
of RC. Sanyo Chemical aims to bring harmony with society and the environment

S-TEC 21
S-TEC 21 Our Groupwide Environmental Campaign
In 2000, we introduced the Sanyo Tactics for Eco Challenge-21 (S-TEC 21), a unique plan for environmental conservation featuring specified targets for achieving energy conservation, waste elimination and reduction of emissions of chemical substances. In 2004, we extended this campaign groupwide, and are now working in collaboration with our affiliates in Japan to achieve these objectives under the new theme of reducing emissions of greenhouse gases.
