Sanyo Chemical Group has been supplying performance chemicals which function to fulfill society's needs. Considering global climate change, we can now see that we must all work together to make society more sustainable. People everywhere desire more energy conservation, more durable, and safer products. This is the driving force for a sustainable society and we hope our performance chemicals can help us this and more. We would like to contribute to the realization of a sustainable society by continuing to supply performance chemicals designed for environment (DfE) while responding to various social needs.

It is the object of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities to achieve our Company Motto, Let us contribute to building a better society through our corporate activities. In fact, here is our management philosophy; In the course of your actions, keep firmly in mind: without rigorous legal and ethical compliance no company can be an excellent company, and we must also fulfill our corporate social responsibility. To implement and promote our CSR activities company-wide in a uniform manner, the Group is establishing eleven CSR guidelines, that cover compliance, corporate governance, the environment, safety, human rights, employment and other areas. We are disseminating and implementing these guidelines throughout the Group. In April 2009, we established the CSR Committee and the CSR Promotion Dept. to comprehensively administer CSR activities conducted under these guidelines and to promote such activities in a coordinated manner throughout the Group. On the basis of these CSR activities, the Group will communicate with all stakeholders with the aim of becoming a truly unique and excellent corporate group that operates on a global scale.
