Highly Acid Modified Polyolefin, Resin Modifieers, Pigment and Filler Diepersant (Registered on the Positive List)
Features
· Higher degree of modification and lower melt viscosity compared with conventional acid modified polyolefin. Therefore the product at low amount of addition improves the dispersibility of pigments, filler and wood flour to the polyolefin resins.
· Improves the adhesion of the polyolefin resins and other materials.
· Very effective as a modifier for hot melt adhesives and asphalt.
· Since it has a higher molecular weight than its sister product, UMEX 1010, its effect on resin strength is small even when added to polyolefin resin.
· Since it has a high softening point and is an acid-modified type, it exhibits excellent effects as a softening point improving agent and an adhesiveness improving agent such as hot melt adhesives and asphalt.
· Since it is registered on the positive list for food containers and packaging made of synthetic resin such as polyolefin by the Polyolegin Hygine Council, with number [B] NJ-1549, it can also be used for food containers and packaging.

Precaution Against Mishandling
· It is a low molecular weight acid-modified polypropylene resin, so if it is added in excess, the resin properties may deteriorate.
Depending on the target resin, compatibility may be poor and transparency may be impaired. Check the compatibility in advance and use it within the range where there is no problem.
Other Precautions
· If this product gets wet with rain or water, the container (paper bag) may be damaged or the quality of this product may deteriorate. Do not get it wet with rain or water.
