Two-Component Type Pressure-Sensitive Adhesive, Having High Adhesive Strength on Wet Surfaces and at Low Temperatures (main component)
Features
· POLYTHICK 410-SA is used as a main component for system of a two-component type pressure-sensitive adhesive suitable for use in the production of paper, synthetic paper, polyester film self-adhesivelabels and double-sided adhesive tapes.
· This system is applicable particularly to paper and synthetic paper labels used for frozen foods, due to its high adhesive strength and excellent tackiness even on wet surfaces and at low temperatures. As for a main component of the system (with a melamine-based curing agent), POLYTHICK 430-SA produced using methanol as a solvent instead of ethyl acetate is also available.
· The system has following features.
-Exhibits high adhesive strength and excellent tackiness on glass, metal and plastics. Also, this system is applicable particularly to producing self-adhesive labels used for frozen foods, due to its high adhesive strength even on wet surfaces and at low temperatures.
-Displays high transparency and weather resistance because the main component is an acrylate polymer.
-Easily soluble in organic solvents such as ethyl acetate and toluene.
-Excellent workability due to its low viscosity.

Precaution Against Mishandling
· When used in combination with other adhesives, desired adhesive strength and holding power may not be achieved. Test the compatibility with other adhesives as well as its performance including adhesive strength and holding power beforehand to ensure that there are no problems.
· Also, to prevent the adhesive from contamination with an incompatible adhesive, clean the coating machine thoroughly before use.
Other Precautions
· Do not use this product for purposes where it comes into direct contact with food.
· When using for applications that come into direct contact with the skin, check for irritation to the skin before use.
