Amidopropyl Betaine-type Amphoteric Detergent Base with Low Skin and Eye Irritation
Features
· An aqueous solution containing about 30% by mass of amide propyl betaine laurate as an active ingredient.
· Low irritation, can be used with both ionic and nonionic surfactants. Shows high foaming property and foam stability.
· Suitable as a shampoo base because it foams well and is less irritating to the skin and eyes.
· Can be used as a detergent base for hair shampoos, body shampoos and liquid kitchen detergents.
· Can also be used as a texture adjuster for hair rinses and a scum dispersant for soap.
· Gives fine and rich lather when washing hair.
· Gives an excellent texture after washing hair.
· Good compatibility with other surfactants, especially when used in combination with anionic surfactants, improves foaming power compared to anionic surfactants alone.
· Thickens by combination with anionic surfactants.
· Exerts high foaming properties and foam stability.
· Has low irritation to the skins and is usable in combination with both inonic and nonionic surfactants.

Precaution Against Mishandling
· There is no problem under normal usage conditions, but there is a risk of coloring and decomposition at pH 4 or lower and pH 10 or higher, so avoid using under these conditions.
